Save the date for the 2026 19th Ward House Tour!

You are invited to the 19th Ward’s 10th House Tour. Walk through and explore beautiful historic homes in Rochester’s 19th Ward. The tour’s theme, “The Lifecycle of a home,” showcases how homeowners in the 19th Ward modify, update, and live in their homes, all while honoring what makes the home special.

• The Tour headquarters is Genesee Baptist Church (149 Brooks Avenue). Stop here first to pick up your House Tour booklet which includes the tour map and historic details on each house. This is also where you can purchase tickets on the day-of the tour.
• We recommend biking or driving the tour. For those who bike, the tour map includes a bike route. For those who drive, street parking is available near each house. Some houses are near enough to walk. Note that these are private homes that may not be physically accessible or may require steps to enter.
• This is a self-paced tour. You may visit the homes in any order. Homeowners and volunteers are present in each home to answer your questions.
• No food, beverages, smoking, or taking photos inside the homes. Tour is not recommended for children under age 12.

Visit the the 19th Ward Facebook page for more details, and reach out to 19thWardHouseTour@gmail.com with any questions. We look forward to sharing the history and charm of these special homes with you!
